Dr. Mariana Alves graduated from the University of Lisbon, School of Dental Medicine in 2010, top of her class. Upon completion of her degree she remained connected to her University as a Clinical instructor in the Endodontics department while she worked as a General dentist.

In 2015 Dr. Alves embarked on a journey to the United Stated of America, for her Endodontic training and Masters degree, at Harvard University. During her time at Harvard she was a pre-doctoral clinical instructor for Endodontics and was awarded the Krakow Harvard Forsyth Endodontics Grant for research in Endodontics.
Since graduation she has practiced exclusively in endodontics and endodontic microsurgery.
She is an assistant professor at the postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Lisbon and lectures both nationally and internationally.

She is registered with the GDC, a certified member of the European Society of Endodontology, a member of the American Association of Endodontics and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Alves is passionate about healthcare. She understands that root canals bring significant anxiety to patients and wishes to create a calm and comfortable environment for her patients. She always aims to deliver the highest quality treatment possible, relying on the latest technologies available.
